Über Universal's Islands of Adventure
Universal's Islands of Adventure opened on 28 May 1999 as Universal Studios Islands of Adventure and got its current name in 2001. It is part of Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida, and has eight islands, among them Marvel Super Hero Island, Toon Lagoon, Skull Island, Jurassic Park and Seuss Landing. Rides include The Incredible Hulk Coaster by Bolliger & Mabillard, the Intamin coasters VelociCoaster and Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, and the dark ride The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man.
