Ridden is free to use. This is where the money comes from, what it pays for, and what never gives way to it.
Ridden is a project by Lars, who builds and maintains it next to his day job. Your logbook, your reviews, the leaderboard and every park page are yours to use without paying. That is not a launch offer, it is how Ridden is meant to be.
If you want more from Ridden, such as a memory with every ride and more room for photos, you can become a Premium member. Those members are the firmest ground under the platform, and every new Premium feature is paid for by them.
See what Premium addsTickets and places to stay sometimes carry a link to a partner, such as Tiqets. If you buy through such a link, Ridden earns a small commission from the seller. You pay exactly the same. You can tell such a link by the coins icon. The park's own page sits right next to it, so where you buy is up to you.
Ridden currently runs on the entry-level plans of the services underneath it. That is a fine start, but now and then it shows: a page that takes a moment, a photo that arrives a little late. Every euro that comes in goes there first.
Better hosting, so a park page opens right away. Also on a busy Saturday, with poor reception, in the queue for a coaster.
Photos are the heaviest part of Ridden. More storage and faster delivery are the difference between browsing and waiting.
More parks and rides mapped properly, better data on every ride, and new features riders ask for. As the number of riders grows, the technology underneath grows with it.
A commission never decides which park or ride comes first. Rankings, scores and reviews belong to the riders.
No banners and no ad networks. A partner link only appears where you were already looking for a ticket or a place to sleep.
We do not sell your data, and Ridden itself carries no third-party cookies. Only when you click a partner link and leave Ridden does the seller see which site you came from.
If a new source of income is added, it appears on this page before you come across it on the site.
