Ridden wants to look better than the rest. That is why we pick photos strictly: an empty spot beats a photo that is almost good enough.
Our cards and hero images are wide. A landscape photo fits everywhere, a portrait one gets cropped.
The ride, the train or the building is in focus. No motion blur, no noise, and no photo copied from someone else's phone.
Blue sky, or a nice golden evening. A flat grey sky drags down a photo of a coaster.
Anyone looking at the photo should recognise the ride. For a coaster ideally with the train on the track, for a dark ride the facade or a recognisable set.
Bigger is better: 2000 pixels or more looks sharpest on large screens. Send the original, not a screenshot or a small copy.
No watermark, no overlaid text, no heavy filters and no AI. An honest photo of the place as it is.
Every photo is looked at before it becomes visible. We choose few on purpose and keep the bar high. Your photo always carries your name as credit, with a link to your Instagram if you like. You keep the copyright and can have a photo removed at any time.
You can send photos per ride through the link in our email. Follow the points above and we publish them with the park name as credit.
Your own photos of a ride you rode belong in your own album. Premium members can share them with others after a quick check.
Do you photograph parks and rides at a high level? Apply with a link to your portfolio or Instagram. Approved photographers can upload photos where the gallery is still missing them, with their name as credit.
Tell us who you are and where we can see your work. We take a look and let you know if you're in.
