Mine of Lost Souls at Canobie Lake Park is a three minute dark ride through a mine from the 1800s, where some boys are said to have disappeared in 1891. A character named Jeremiah Jones invites riders to explore it. The ride started as Haunted Mine in 1985 and was redesigned in 1992 by Sally Dark Rides, which added a new storyline, theming and animatronics to a ride system from S and MC.
