About Wave

The Wave began life in 1994 as Shockwave, billed as the UK's only stand-up roller coaster, before a conversion for 2024 gave it new seated trains and a lower 1.2-metre height limit. The original track layout was kept, still sending riders through a loop, a zero-g roll and a double corkscrew across four inversions at up to 85 km/h. It stands about 37 metres tall in Adventure Cove.
