About Poseidon

Poseidon opened in 2000 as the first water coaster in Europe, a Mack Rides ride that combines boat and roller coaster mechanics along an 836-metre course. The nearly six-minute journey starts in the Temple of Poseidon, passes the ruins of Troy and follows Odysseus on his way home, all in Europa-Park's Greece area. Two lift hills and several water passages lead to a big splashdown finish.
