Wallace & Gromit's Thrill-O-Matic at Pleasure Beach Resort in Blackpool is a story ride through 20 scenes from Aardman's Wallace and Gromit films, including The Wrong Trousers and A Close Shave. Riders sit in four-seat cars shaped like one of Wallace's slippers, and the roughly four-minute trip covers 275 metres of track with small drops. It opened on 29 April 2013 in the building of the former Gold Mine ride.
Wallace & Gromit's Thrill-O-Matic began in 1971 as The Gold Mine. It was rethemed in 2013 but kept the original track layout.
