About The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror opened in 1994 at Disney's Hollywood Studios, then Disney-MGM Studios. Set in the fictional Hollywood Tower Hotel, a 1930s Hollywood hotel framed as a Twilight Zone episode, it was Disney's first drop tower. Since 2003 its elevator has followed randomised drop sequences chosen by a computer, and versions of the attraction were later built at other Disney parks.
