Geisterschloss is a family-run ghost train in the Wurstelprater in Vienna. It opened around 1955 as the Geistermühle and became the Geisterschloss in the 1957/58 season, with a facade like a medieval grey castle. Small two-person cars run separately on electrified rails for about four minutes, leaving the building briefly at three points. Puppets spring or fall toward you, and a speaking gorilla and a winged gargoyle are among the figures.
