About OzIris
OzIris opened in 2012 as Parc Astérix's Egyptian-themed inverted coaster, with a story built around Iris, the Egyptian magician from The Twelve Tasks of Asterix, who hypnotises riders in his temple so they fly like birds. It was the first Bolliger & Mabillard inverted coaster without a pre-drop and the first inverted coaster with a dive loop. Across 1,000 metres it reaches 90 km/h through five inversions.
