20,000 Leagues Under the Sea seats riders in a small submarine called the Neptune, with portholes for viewing, for a voyage past a coral reef and the ship graveyard of Kraken Reef, where a giant squid attacks. It is based on Jules Verne's novel and the 1954 Disney film, and it opened with Tokyo DisneySea on 4 September 2001 in the Mysterious Island area.
