Journey to the Center of the Earth drops riders in Terravator elevators to Captain Nemo's base inside Mount Prometheus, then sends steam-powered mine vehicles through crystal caverns and a mushroom forest, past a giant lava monster, and out on the wave of an eruption at up to 76 km/h. Loosely based on Jules Verne's novel, it opened with Tokyo DisneySea in 2001 and exists nowhere else.
