Jurassic World Adventure opened with Universal Studios Beijing in September 2021, in the Jurassic World Isla Nublar area. Motion-based vehicles run through sets filled with animatronics, backed by screen effects instead of 3D. Riders meet a Tyrannosaurus rex, Velociraptors and an Indominus rex, which chases the vehicle backward through the dark before the climactic fight with the T. rex in a wrecked shopping street. The ride won a THEA Award in 2023.
