Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey opened at Universal Studios Hollywood in April 2016 as part of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Riders sit on enchanted benches held by a KUKA robotic arm, which swings them past real sets, animatronics and projection screens. The four-minute story runs through Hogwarts Castle, Hagrid, a Quidditch match and the Forbidden Forest. Here the fog of other versions is replaced by dozens of Dementors, and riders must be at least 122 cm.
