The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash! is a slow dark ride in the Upper Lot at Universal Studios Hollywood, opened in 2021. Guests become stray puppies on a trip through the streets of New York in search of a forever home, meeting Max, Duke, Snowball and Gidget along the way. Gesture-tracking technology turns each rider into one of 15 stray puppies. Mostly animatronics, physical sets and practical effects tell the story, with 64 animated figures.
