Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin is an interactive dark ride at Magic Kingdom that opened in 1998, reusing the ride system built in 1972 for If You Had Wings. Two or three riders per space cruiser fire laser pistols at targets worth 100 to 10,000 points, and a joystick spins the vehicle a full 360 degrees. Riders are Star Command recruits trying to stop Emperor Zurg from stealing the batteries that power the Little Green Men's ships. A ride takes four to five minutes.
