About Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters
Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters opened at Disneyland in 2005 as an interactive shooting dark ride. Riders climb into Star Cruiser vehicles with two laser pistols and a joystick that spins the car for aiming. As Star Command recruits, they help Buzz stop Emperor Zurg from stealing the crystallic fusion cells of the Little Green Men. Targets are worth 100 to 10,000 points, and the final score earns a rank from Star Cadet to Galactic Hero. The ride lasts four to five minutes.
