It's a Small World opened at Disneyland in 1966 after starting life as Children of the World at the 1964 New York World's Fair. Boats float past rooms of singing dolls in costumes from around the globe, set to the song by the Sherman Brothers. Mary Blair designed the look, Marc Davis planned the scenes and Rolly Crump created the clock tower on the facade. A 2008 refurbishment modernized the boats and added 29 Disney characters among the scenes.
